The villa is situated in the small, traditional settlement Stavromenos of the municipality of Geropotamos , right next to Margarites and near Ancient Eleftherna. We want to believe that your stay here will be an unforgettable experience.

Our intention is to offer to our visitor the famous Cretan hospitality and the possibility to wander round the paths of tradition, combined with the comforts of modern life. It is the ideal place to rest and relax and to take a walk in picturesque paths too.

Description

The Villa has got traditional housing built of stone the old one and the new one, separated by a big yard equipped with an old traditional stove.The old building is labeled as "preservable" and was renovated without any interventions to its architecture.

On the first floor there is a two-bed and a three-bedroom. From the window of the first bedroom you can view the pool, the vast green and the mountains of Kouloukonas and Psiloritis.

The second bedroom has a big veranda with a pergola and the view from its window is dominated by the big yard with the stone tiles and the old stove.

The third bedroom has got an old fireplace and a view attending from the garden to the sea.

On the ground floor there is a three-bedroom and the communal space of the kitchen, the dinning room, the bathroom and the reception.

In the dinning room the fireplace and the traditional Cretan furniture which are in total harmony with the space, will attract your attention.

All the bedrooms offer an individual bathroom, a satellite TV, a small fridge, a telephone and a hair dryer.

Their decoration is severe and subtle, totally interwoven with the distinctiveness of each room.

The new building was created with the same architectural style of the original house.

On the first floor there is a separate two-spaced apartment made of stone and wood. The kitchen and the sitting-room are in the same room. The kitchen is equipped with an oven, a two-door fridge, a TV, a washing machine, an iron, a coffee maker, a microwave oven and a juicer. In the sitting-room there is the fireplace and a sofa easily convertible into a double bed. There is also a bathroom and a bedroom with a double bed, a TV and a wardrobe on the same floor.

From the window you can take a good look of the pool, the garden and the mountains and the door leads to a beautiful veranda with an age-old carob. The veranda with the stone stairs leads to the garden and the pool.

On the ground floor of the new building are the auxiliary rooms (linen-case, storage area, WC), two bathrooms (for the pool) and two showers.

* The village of Margarites, famous for its pottery as well as its byzantine churches.
* The archaeological site of Ancient Eleftherna
