The Villa is 30 minutes by car from Heraklion and only a few minutes drive from the resort of Gouves and the beach. It is set in a very quiet location, in its own gardens with spectacular views of the sea and the surrounding olive groves and mountains. It is built on three levels, each level with own entance. It has a private swimming pool, a smaller children¢s pool and outdoors sitting and eating areas, as well as a very large living room and dining room. As the villa is set in a very quiet location, car hire is strongly recommended. The villa is fully air-conditioned.

Very large living room and dining room with balcony with panoramic views. Also satellite TV and DVD player, and a selection of DVDs.

Cleaning/towels/linen/maid service

All towels and bed linen are provided and changed weekly.

Notes on accommodation

The house is tastefully furnished and all towels and bed linen are provided. There are solar panels for free hot water. As it is built on three levels, it is not suitable for wheelchair users. Pets welcome.

The Villa is ideally located for those who are looking for a beach or a summer holiday. As it is situated in a very quiet location with virtually no passing traffic, it is ideal for families with children.
Crete is one of the largest islands of the Mediterannean and home to one of the oldest civilizations, the Minoan civilization. Knossos, the capital of the Minoans is 30 minutes by car. The antiquites from Knossos and the other ancient sites of Crete are housed in Heraklion museum, only second to Athens museum in importance in Greece. A absolute must!

Travel
Heraklion International Airport is approximately 15 Km away. The last 2 km are on dirt road. Transfers as well as car hire can be arranged.

Distances
The resort of Gouves is only a few minutes away by car. The resorts of Hersonissos and Malia are less than 10 miles away.

Further details
The Villa is very quietly situated, but not far from amenities. It is run by the Farsari family, who live in Heraklio and will be there to welcome you and help you with local knowledge and provide any assistance required.
