GENERAL INFO AND LOCATION

The Villa complex is strategically located on the top (110m above the sea) of the peninsula of Pounta overlooking the striking town of Skiathos. Pounta is the name of the promontory of olive groves which makes up one side of Skiathos town's bay.

Cleverly positioned on this envied hilltop allows for an 180 degree stunning view of the sea, the town and harbor of Skiathos as well as the neighboring islands. The property is surrounded by lush Mediterranean pine and olive trees until the crystal clear waters of the Aegean Sea. The villas sets a beautiful atmosphere of tranquility, privacy and comfort without being inconveniently far away. The  villas is only 2.5km away from Skiathos town and port, a heavenly 20 minute walk or a 5 minute car ride.
Less than a 5 minute car ride to the Alexandras Papadiamantis International airport and less than 1 km away from Xanemos, the nearest beach (there is actually a small beach below the villas, however less frequented). Skiathos is easily accessible by plane and boat from various destinations.

ACCOMMODATION

The Villa complex is composed of two lovely, private luxury villas. The base floors of both villas are almost identical. Similar in appearance, both villas are elegantly covered in lovely dry stone and stuccoe walls, wood framed windows and doors and a traditional ceramic roof. Although both villas are alike, this villa is slightly larger since it has an extra little bedroom on the main floor.  Entering into the main floor of these divine two storey villas is a vast open planned space which includes a large bright kitchen, WC, spacious dining area and expansive living room. (There is central heating and air conditioning in every room).

The kitchen is completely equipped for top chefs including all modern amenities (stove, oven, microwave, and dishwasher) and set on beautiful Spanish ceramic tiles. Certified drinkable tap water is provided in the kitchen, unlike in the rest of Skiathos. Between the kitchen and living room is a stunning heavy wooden dining table.

The extensive living room is surrounded by windows to admire the view, a large comfortable sofa, big flat screen TV (satellite, cable, DVD CD, PS2 and wireless internet around the entire property), fireplace and two French doors leading to a spacious terrace looking over the infinity pool, with an outstanding view of the sea, and picturesque harbor and town of Skiathos. The floors are wooden, the ceiling is high and wood beamed and the atmosphere is cozy and relaxing. The terrace is comfortably furnished to enjoy the astounding view anytime you wish. Elegantly traditional, yet contemporary and convenient is the absolute combination for the most memorable island holidays.

A stairway beside the entrance leads to the base level of three tastefully decorated and furnished bedrooms, one of which is en-suite and another bathroom shared between the other two bedrooms. All beds are of the highest quality FULL SYSTEM COCOMAT beds and delicately enveloped with Greek superior linen, very inviting!!

Both bathrooms are spacious and covered in magnificent mosaic tiles with bathtub/shower, large mirror, hairdryer, robe, slippers, comfort towels and KORRES natural products hair and body care set). Each bedroom has its own patio door leading to the garden and pool area. (There is also a complete laundry room on this floor, washer/dryer, iron and ironing board).

Each villa has SOOsq.m of blissful outdoor living area consisting of a BBQ and dining area, pool and garden. The outdoors surrounding the villas is landscaped in lively green grass and bright and j'oyful colored flowers. The BBQ is built in, with sink and fridge for outstanding meals, be it under the sun (there is also a mobile pergola] or the stars, the view is unique at all times, and the sun set is unforgettable. The magnificent blue tiled (47sq.m) infinity pool seems one with the sea while lying on the comfortable wide wooden sun beds that surround one side of the pool, which also has a soothing hydro massage attached.

The Villas provides full maid and concierge service as well as a complimentary car with each villa.

Other services ore available upon request such a relaxing massage (certified and experienced), babysiffing, traditional home  made  catered food,  personal  chef and  so forth.

Activities are also an aspect of Skiathos; there are many tours and excursions that may be arranged,   from   visiting   the   beaches,   the   monasteries, neighboring islands.

Skiathos is ideal for water sports, scuba diving, hiking, biking and enjoying the outdoors. Skiathos has an abundance of taverns, bars and clubs, tor great meols and drinks. Although, we highly recommend the Tapas Bar in Skiathos, the concierge service offered to you will surely direct you to further enjoyable locations.
